Privacy Policy

Have Another Go is an independently operated UK games portal. This notice explains what information is processed when you visit the site or play a game.

What we collect

You can play without creating an account or giving us your name. Our hosting and security providers may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, approximate region, security events and timestamps.

Game data stored on your device

Games may use browser local storage for settings, recently seen questions, scores, personal bests and local leaderboards. This information normally remains on your device and is not an online player account. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser.

Hosting and security

The portal is delivered using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers may process technical data to serve pages, maintain reliability, prevent abuse and protect the site. Processing may take place outside the UK under the provider’s applicable safeguards.

Analytics, advertising and consent

The portal may introduce privacy-respecting analytics or advertising as it grows. Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies, personalised advertising or similar technologies, we will request it before enabling them. Games remain designed to work when advertising is unavailable or blocked.

Why information is processed

Technical information is processed where necessary to provide and secure the service and for our legitimate interests in understanding reliability, preventing misuse and improving games. Where the law requires consent, consent is the legal basis and can be withdrawn through the available privacy controls.

Sharing and retention

Information may be handled by service providers that host, secure or measure the portal, and may be disclosed where required by law. We do not sell player account data, and we do not currently operate player accounts. Provider logs are retained according to operational, security and legal needs; local game data remains until you clear it or the game replaces it.

Your privacy rights

UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Because most game data stays on your device, we may not be able to identify it as belonging to you.

Children

The portal is for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information.
